GS writes to Hon Minister Shri Manoj Sinhna

on E2/E3 pay scales:

 Approval of BSNL proposal

 for revision of intermediary pay scales of

9850-250-14600 (E1A)

 and 11875-300-17275 (E2A)

with the next higher standard pay scales of E2 and E3

 for the JTO and SDE equivalent cadres in BSNL

 w.e.f. 01.01.2007

based on the clarification given by DPE on 29.08.2018.

 DPE directed DoT to decide the pay scales based

 on 1) affordability clause in the DPE OM

dated 26.11.2008, ie. PBT for the year 2007-08,

 2) intermediary pay scales are not allowed and

 3) the pay scales are to be implemented

by the CPSE in consultation

with the Administrative Ministry

The MA filed by BSNL to vacate the stay on AGM to DGM(T) promotion based on catch up rule is listed for hearing today, 26.09.2018 at Hon CAT/Chandigarh. Earlier Hon CAT vacated the stay of AO to CAO promotion based on catch up rule. Citing this order, BSNL filed the MA for vacation of stay on AGM to DGM promotions. The legal opinion sought by BSNL from the Sr Lawyer on implementation of OWN MERIT in reservation for AO to CAO promotion based on the Hon SC interim order is yet to be received. The Writ Petition filed by AUAB against Tower Subsidiary formation in the Hon Delhi High Court was listed for hearing on 25.09.201. Due to paucity of time, the case did not come up for hearing and posted to 31.01.2019. GS was present in the Hon HC.
