GMT / KMB office Building shifting Committee has been convened under the chairmanship of DGM (CFA) / KMB on today 06/03/2012. Members from Administrative side & from Association / Union Side were participated. The meeting was fruitful.
DGM ( CFA ) / KMB , the Chairman of the Committee told that Vertical Expansion is NOT POSSIBLE since it was categorically rejected by CGMT / TN Circle & it could not possible to accommadate part our GM office at the following areas.
1. Part of First Floor of STR Building ( 600 Sq.Ft )-{Where STR stores are being kept}
2. IQs available at Mothilal Street / Kumbakonam.
The Association / Unions requested the Chairman to record these informations as part of minutes of this meeting. Therefore thse problems can be raised at Circle Level by our association so as to get some favourable reply from TN Circle administration.
We stressed the administration instead of closing of IQs available at Mothilal Street,Kumbakonam , they may be shifted to vacant quarters with full facility & this could help us to avoid placing of offices in many scattered locations.
Administration accepted to give their draft proposal along with minutes of the meeting. The members of Association / Unions are advised to submit their view & opinions within a short period.
We had also accepted to co - ordinate with administration.
