BSNL is understood to have
sought Rs 14,769 crore from the government for returning the spectrum for
broadband wireless services and providing voluntary retirement to over 71,000
employees.
BSNL has sought Rs 6,724.51 crore as return of BWA spectrum fee and Rs
8,045 crore as VRS support for 71,861 employees as on April
1, 2013 ,
sources added.
It has also sought permission for the lease or sale of its real estate property by making changes in its memorandum of association (MoA) and articles of association (AoA). .
