Provision of another option to Non executives to switchover to revised IDA pay scale from the date of promotion between 01.01.2007 to 07.05.2010 ---.

The TTAs promoted to JTOs in dept quota during this period also may exercise this option. By this option, they will continue in the pre-revised TTA scale till the date of promotion and on the date of promotion they will be fixed in the pre revised JTO pay scale and then given the 30% fitment on 2^nd pay revision.

They may have to forgo the arrears between 01.01.2007 to the date of promotion in the revised IDA scale but they will be fixed minimum at Rs 21620/- (68.8 IDA+30% fitment). Last date of this option is 21.01.2012.

OCLAN of Karaikkal SDCA  parenting with Pondichery  BNG with a  bandwidth of 155 Mbps  have  been  Rerouted  to  Kumbakonam BNG  with  a bandwidth  of 1GB through GE Port  with no disturbances  to the  BB subscriber  of  Karaikkal SDCA  within a short span  of  time. SNEA ( I ) / KMB District Branch  congratulate  Com.K.Ramasamy SDE ( BB) / KMB , Com.S.Chandra SDE ( NIB ) / KMB & their team  inclusive of  Com.K.Ramanikanthan TTA / Transmission

It  is  an another milestone in the history of Kumbakonam EB wing.

Cell Info Display is a NEW SERVICE offered to Corporate customer whose name will be  appearing  as  Cell information of Particular BTS instead of Name / Location of the BTS.

As a First case in TN Circle , KMB EB wing has  given the services to the Corporate Customer M/s SARA  REGENCY HOTELS LTD., KMB.

     As per JAC / ND Call,  Demonstration was   conducted   on  the  issues of          3G roaming  &  Refund  of  BWA  Spectrum  amount to BSNL , at  the Entrance  of   O/o GM_BSNL_KMB  by  JAC / KMB

     The  meeting was jointly presided over by Com.E.Rajasekaran DVP / SNEA  / KMB & Com.R.Rajarajan DP / FNTOBEA / KMB.

     Com.G.Kabilan DS / SNEA / KMB , Com. P.J.Gokulan DS / AIBSNLEA / KMB Com.Ra.Packirinathan DP / BSNLEU / KMB & Com.G.Kanakaraj DS / SEWA / KMB explained in detail about the depth of these issues.

     A Large number of  Comrades including Lady Comrades from all association had participated. The meeting was cocluded with vote of  thanks by Com.Kolanchiyappan  Br.Secy / BSNLEU / KMB

The JAC has given call to conduct demonstrations on 10.01.2012 on the issues of 3G roaming and refund of BWA spectrum amount to BSNL.

• It is known to every one now, that Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Teleservices and Aircel were providing 3G services in circles where they have not acquired 3G spectrum. They were providing the service by sharing each others spectrum.
• This is violation of license conditions and caused huge loss of revenue to the govt. DOT banned this 3G intra circle roaming.
• One estimation is that, this 3G intra circle roaming has caused Rs.20,000 crore loss to the government. This looting by private companies has to be exposed among the people of this country. 
• BSNL has surrendered its BWA Spectrum in most of the circles. Govt. dumped this non-standard spectrum on BSNL.
• Now money should be refunded to BSNL for the spectrum that BSNL has surrendered. It is expected that BSNL may get around Rs.7000 crore as refund. Both these issues are very important. << JAC Press Release >>
