UF of BSNL Executives ( SNEA(I), AIBSNLEA & AIGETOA ) in a combined meeting on 04.01.2012 decided to oppose the BSNL Mgt decision for outside recruitment  at Sr. DGM Grade making it as a functional post above DGM by diverting our promotion posts which is against the provisions of the BSNLMS RR.

The meeting also decided to demand

a) Filling up of all the DGM Post from the BSNL Executives itself as thousands of Executives having the requisite qualification and experience is available within BSNL and

b) To extend standard pay scales of E2,E3, E4 ---- E7 as there is no justification for denying the same further as the pension contribution issue is resolved, BSNL is recruiting unabsorbed ITS at a higher scale and extending even pay protection who are getting all the terminal benefits from Govt. and recruiting more than double officers at higher level.

Get ready for a struggle _ from CHQ

Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the grade of Sub-Divisional Engineer ( Telecom ) under 33% quota to be held on 04-03-2012.

Vacancies : 3024

(2006-07 = 1029, 2007-08 = 546, 2008-09 = 1063, 2009-10 = 386) 

No fresh registration is required. Only the candidates who were declared eligible to appear in the exam which was to be held on 04-07-2010  shall be eligible to appear in the exam now scheduled to be held on 04-03-2012.
